Job description:

- We are looking for a PLC engineer with experience in programming industrial controllers who wants to further their career in technical development and potentially take a step forward in project management.

- Developing software for industrial controllers.

- Software simulations and testing.

- Managing software development projects.

- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Participate in the presales process, understand customer’s technical and project needs, and analyze their requirements.

- Regular discussions with internal team and customers.

Requirements:

- Experience in the field of automation.

- Experience with managing software development projects.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- A desire to take on responsibility and learn new technologies.

- Education

- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or other related technical disciplines.

- Fluency in spoken and written English.

- Bonus points if you have

- Experience in Beckhoff or Siemens PLC technology.

- Experience with programming (C++ or other OOP).

- Knowledge of SCADA systems.

- Experience in collaboration in pre-sales engineering, including the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

- Interest in or experience within the scientific domain (particle accelerators, fusion energy, space,…).
